Cart Abandoned Recovery System
Distractions….hesitations…..you name it, it can happen when buyers are going through the order process on your website. As I’m sure you’ve seen this, nothing worse than seeing marketing time/dollars spent on leads, they’ve hit your site and gone through the selection and most of the ordering process…..but failed to hit that final BUY NOW button.
This training module will help lure back those who have gone through the order process but failed to close the deal.
If your system allows for capturing emails (and/or contact information) before the final BUY NOW button is clicked then this can all be automated easily. If credentials are not captured until final button is clicked then we suggest installing a gatekeeper. The gatekeeper will capture the information needed for this system to work, its an email capturing form that you place between your product page and shopping cart.
The success rate may be low, however, even 1 save is worth it. That one sale could be thousands of dollars over the course of that customers service life.
If you want to go the manual route, it can definitely be handled by your sales team. Setup a schedule where sales will manually send the email an hour or two after someone has abandoned their cart.
We generally recommend the following times for sending:
– 30 to 60 minutes after the shopping cart was abandoned.
– 24 hours later (at roughly the same exact time of day they began the process)
– 48 Hours later (at roughly the same exact time of day they began the process)
– 72 Hours (at roughly the same exact time of day they began the process)
